You may have seen Vibrant Farm on the shelves of grocery stores, at the Litchfield Farmers Market or South Farms Socials, or on the menus of some of the best restaurants in Litchfield County. We grow vegetables and berries on the farm in Bantam, CT and we’re looking to grow our dedicated and hard-working farm crew for the season ahead!

Who is Vibrant Farm?

We are a vegetable farm in Bantam, CT, owned and operated by farming couple Meghan and Curtis. We grow year-round under certification with Certified Naturally Grown, meaning we don’t use synthetic pesticides and herbicides on our crops. We strive to have a safe and enjoyable working environment that meets the needs of our community, customers, and employees.

The Job(s)

We are seeking multiple candidates for the upcoming season, offering multiple part time positions starting immediately or later in the spring/summer. We are considering candidates with any level of experience, interest, or age - from students to seniors. Some of the job tasks include harvesting, washing & packing produce, seeding & planting, cultivating & weeding, trellising, irrigating, equipment operation, farmers markets, and other various farm tasks. 

• Positive and collaborative working attitude
• Excellent observation skills, ability to work efficiently and safely, and the ability to transition quickly to new tasks
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively as a member of a small team
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute 
• Previous hands-on work experience is helpful; some produce experience preferred (whether in the kitchen or in the garden), but we are open to training motivated individuals
